Monique Yelvington is a self-taught photographer hailing from North Florida. She got her first taste for photography at the age of 13 when her mother gave her a hand me down polaroid. Back then you could get polaroid film for about $8 at the local Walmart. She never put that camera down and has since picked up many others. In 2020 she moved to Miami, Florida and her career took off, leading her to work for brands like Loveshackfancy, Triangl, Solid & Striped, Free People and more. Monique shoots nearly all of her work on location with the help of natural light, on 35mm film.
